We started Bell AI as a voice-first fellowship in 2025. Voice AI remains one of the richest frontiers in technology - conversational interfaces, emotional intelligence, real-time interaction. We still believe in it deeply.
But what we discovered running that first cohort surprised us. The fellows who learned the most weren't the ones with the best tutorials or the most access to tools. They were the ones who built something and then turned around and taught it to someone else.
This is not a new idea. Richard Feynman built his entire teaching philosophy around it. Medical schools have practiced "learn one, do one, teach one" for generations. What's new is the leverage. LLMs have made it possible to learn almost anything - but only if you engage with the content. Courses, tutorials, and bootcamps give you access. Community accountability and the discipline of teaching give you learning.
